First to explain the reason I wrote this essay. I have been gambling on the internet or at land based betting houses for many years. I have discovered, the fixation can take a hold of you and you will not even notice it up until you are flat broke. Particularly if you’re on a winning streak. I’ve gone through countless tens of thousands of dollars in a very short amount of time and to this day on occasion, I’ll go a bit too far. It appears you’re just having a blast until you decide to pay attention to your squanderings and the anguish settles in, and then you keep telling yourself "I can get it back" constantly. It never works. Then you become queasy in your stomach and the more you attempt the faster you lose.
When you notice that you are up, remain on the UP! When you start to lose, don’t say to yourself, "well perhaps one more" and over and over again, trust me, this logic hardly ever operates. Say you are betting on slots, have an amount put aside before beginning your play. Don’t go over that boundary, no matter how tempting. If you happen to win, put that in a different canister. Do not use your winnings no matter what. Once you’ve gambled through your original set limit, call it a day. Head out, regardless if it is on the net or at a land based casino, do not stick around. Always keep in mind, there is going to be a different day, another time.
Always remember, gambling is supposed to be exciting not backbreaking, nauseating work! If you are not having fun yourself, you don’t belong there. If youcan not afford the cost, don’t even begin.
